Sandalwood & Jasmine Nourishing Face Cream
Sacred Sandalwood oil is soothing and grounding, evocative of spiritual ceremony & ritual. It is both soothing for dry, itching and inflamed skin but also mildly astringent, so it’s beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin too. It is one of the oils used in sacred service – connected to deep listening, the listening done with heart, soul & body. Sandalwood helps ease the restlessness of the mind so that we can listen to the inner wisdom of our higher selves.
Jasmine is one of the most uplifting of essential oils reducing feelings of stress & anxiety & enhancing optimism, self confidence & well-being. Jasmine essential oil helps minimize the appearance of scars, reduce redness & inflammation, & soothes and conditions the skin. Skin outbreaks triggered by emotional stress often respond well to Jasmine. Sandalwood & Jasmine are combined with Rose oil – highly prized in skin care products – with Cedarwood, Vetiver & Geranium.

Face Creams – will keep for at least 3 months with careful use.
We don’t use emulsifiers (which are of no benefit to skin or health) or any synthetic chemicals. So they behave differently from conventional creams. They come in shades of creamy gold & may change slightly over time. A textured graininess can develop as the butters & waxes separate a little, melting immediately in contact with warm skin. If droplets of Aloe vera juice appear, just pour away.
How to use the face creams:
- Open jar soon after purchasing and ideally use each day.
- Daily opening is the best preservative.
- Keep away from sources of direct heat and light.
- Ensure that fingers are clean before popping into jar.
Balms, Facial oils & Body Butters – will keep for at least 6 months if stored away from sources of heat and light, as these ingredients are more stable.
